When the worlds best snowboarders gather in Oslo in February, American rock artist, TV host and motivational-party speaker Andrew W.K. will deliver the soundtrack. Every sound will be unique; from title song to prize awards anthem to original score for the TV show.

Exploding onto the international music scene with his mega hit "Party Hard" in 2001, Andrew W.K. has developed his unique flavor of talents into multiple dimensions. He is one of the worlds greatest singer/songwriters, he hosts a children's TV pyrotechnic game show on Cartoon Network, he holds motivational speeches at places like Yale, Harvard, and the Soho area of London, and he tours the world with his eminent rock 'n' roll band. Recently, he beat The Strokes for the title “New Yorks best band” in a Metromix Internet reader's poll of the best bands from New York City.

At night, Andrew W.K. will host his nightclub, Santos Party House, during the full WSC week. Andrew WK and three friends established Santos Party House in New York in 2008. It´s a perfect place to check out amazing music and the full on party attitude. Together with Happy Tom and Raldo Useless from the legendary Norwegian rock bands Turbonegro and Gluecifer, Andrew W.K. will ignite the Oslo nightlife when Santos Party House is imported from NYC to Norway, for the whole week. Happy Tom and Raldo Useless are also seasoned rippers from the early snowboard scene in Oslo, Andrew W.K. will finish off his WSC job with a full concert for the excited and deserving Oslo snowboard fans.

"To make the best snowboard contest in the world, nothing must be left to coincidences. We want to make sure that the contest format, the TV production, the judging system, the graphics, and the music plays together. When developing our TV and online products, we are inspired by video games. Who has enjoyed a video game without great music? We were looking for a rock artist that would enjoy working closely with us on this special project, and we found the perfect partner in Andrew W.K." says Henning Andersen, CEO of the WSC
