After the well publicised reports earlier this year of Ian, John and Reni meeting up recently at bass player Mani's late mothers funeral it seems that the path has been cleared, all the bickering has been put aside and the love of the music has finally came back to fruition for all the band members who will play together for the first time in sixteen years with what was to be two huge shows in their hometown of Manchester next year but as the ticets sold out in 14 minutes a 3rd show was added.

However incredible, a total of 220,000 tickets for the eagerly awaited Stone Roses Reunion gigs at Heaton Park, Manchester 29/30th May & June 2nd sold out in an incredible 68 mins making them the fastest selling rock gig tickets ever in UK history, a massive well done to the roses on making the decision to reform.
